Carter Naranjo, Reporter
Carter Naranjo is a senior at West Chicago Community High School and serves as captain of the football team, as well as an All-State football player. He enjoys working out and occasionally hanging out with friends on the weekends. While he is mostly a homebody, he still likes getting out of the house from time to time. He is also obsessed with tattoos and plans to get many more throughout his life.
Carter moved to Arizona on his ninth birthday without saying goodbye to anyone, as no one knew he and his family were leaving. Five months later, he moved back. Carter loves sports and has played football, basketball, and baseball—giving up baseball around age eight and basketball at 14. He got into journalism because he has a passion for helping people and expressing himself through words (and because he needed another English credit).
