About

The Wildcat Chronicle is the voice of the student body at West Chicago Community High School. We are always looking for new student journalists to join the staff!

JOURNALISM: SEMESTER-LONG CLASS

Journalism is a hands-on and engaging class that will teach you the elements of news gathering, reporting and publishing. While not required to join the newspaper, it is highly recommended that you take Journalism to get a feel for writing articles, and better understand the style and ethics behind news reporting.

NEWSPAPER: EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITY

The Wildcat Chronicle is where your ideas and writing can be published and shared! Whether you enjoy writing about events or sports, talking on a podcast, or creating graphics, this club develops your range of skills by introducing real-world situations and deadlines. We publish online at wildcatchronicle.org.
