The Breyers S’mores Sandwich combines two classic treats into one – but does it live up to the campfire favorite? Priced at $6.49 for a four-pack, the cookie treats receive a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
On a cool summer night, a campfire, ice cream, and s’mores are staple treats; this product attempts to bring both snacks together in one dessert.

The latest product in Breyers’ S’mores lineup, which includes ice cream and frozen bars, was released on January 1, 2025. The brand, Breyers, was founded in 1866 by William A. Breyer. The first shop launched in 1882, and offered handmade ice cream delivered by horse. The ice cream sandwich, however, is not considered real ice cream, but rather a “frozen dairy dessert”, as it contains less than 10% milk fat.
The texture is cold and slightly wet, but still enjoyable. The outside cookie tastes like a graham cracker. It does not have a strong chocolate flavor, with more of a 60/40 marshmallow-to-chocolate ratio, meaning it could use more chocolate. There’s a small hint of chocolate, but the Hershey’s taste is negligible. It’s a little bit chewy and slightly soggy; the graham cracker portion lacks crunch.
The ice cream features a blended flavor profile, with notes of chocolate and caramel that complement the s’mores concept. Although the graham cracker is chewy, the sandwich is still worth trying, especially as a warm-weather snack or for those looking to try something new.
The packaging stands out as well, reflecting the look and color of a traditional s’more. The package also looks very clean, though the bottom left corner feels slightly cluttered with text. Overall, it is a good color combination to match the s’mores ice cream. The aesthetic of the packaging makes consumers want to purchase it. The packaging gets a 7/10.

The combination of flavors – s’mores ice cream, chocolate, and graham cracker-style crust – creates a unique and enjoyable taste.
Overall, the sandwich delivers a mix of caramel and graham cracker flavors, along with a hint of Hershey’s chocolate. The whole class wanted to try it when they saw the box. When the ice cream was out of its wrapper, interest increased, and more students were convinced to try it.
For those craving a quick twist on a classic campfire treat, the Breyers S’mores Sandwich is worth picking up – just do not expect it to fully replace the real thing.
