As WeGo Drama prepares to leave to the American High School Theatre Festival in Edinburgh Scoutland, the group held a rummage sale to raise funds for the trip.

The rummage sale took place on Saturday and Sunday.

“(The funds from the rummage sale) are able to help the students who are going to represent our school, community, state and country at the AHSTF. They are performing a great family piece called ‘Allan’s Awkward Choose Your Own Adventure’.”  WeGo Drama adviser Mark Begovich said.

A preview for the show will take place on July 15 at 7 p.m. and July 16 at 2 and 4 p.m.

“It is perfect for all ages, kids through high school through college students and adults. It is a great show and it is very fun and interactive,” Begovich said.

Students’ families and community members donated items for the sale.

“We have a couple little fundraisers for this summer to help with, but the rummage sale is our last big push in fundraising,” Begovich said.
