Aidan Ryan, Reporter
Aidan Ryan (Class of 2026) is excited to see what happens during his time as a reporter for the Wildcat Chronicle. He is also a four-year member of the West Chicago Business Professionals of America chapter, where he has served on the executive board each year, as well as on the 2024–2025 Illinois State Executive Board as historian. Outside of school, he spends most of his time with friends, working, and playing volleyball.
Aidan hopes to explore opinion and feature stories, as he enjoys expressing his creativity. He entered journalism expecting it to be like any other boring English class, but quickly realized he should not be so pessimistic, as the class is much more interesting than he expected. He has not yet decided on a college but plans to study supply chain management and hopes to work in Chicago after graduation.
While many people dislike driving long distances, Aidan could drive all day as long as he is behind the wheel. He often takes mini road trips on random weekends with his friends, whether it is for a football game at the University of Illinois, a wrestling event in central Illinois, or a concert in Chicago—if it sounds fun, he is willing to travel for it.
