President Trump attacks the Hispanic community once again

President Trump is now attacking American citizens of Latin descent who live along the Mexican border for suspicion of birth certificate fraud by refusing reentry to the United States after traveling to Mexico or South America

According to The Washington Post, the State Department would not give details on who falls into the category of “potentially fraudulent birth documents.”

Those currently under suspicion are babies who were delivered by midwives along the Mexican border.

Again, the State Department would not provide a list of midwives who are considered to be suspicious.

It’s outrageous for the State Department to begin detaining people without releasing a list of who’s under investigation.

The State Department not releasing details on who falls under the category of “potentially fraudulent birth documents” brings into question if this is another attack to the Hispanic community.

Looking at all of this, it’s evident that American citizens of Hispanic heritage are Trump’s main target and citizens who have traveled out of the country are now not able to return.

According to The Washington Post, a well-known gynecologist in McAllen, Texas named Jorge Treviño, who has delivered about 15,000 babies, is under the suspicion of fraud.

Without the State Department providing a list of who falls under the category of “potentially fraudulent birth documents,” it’s evident that people of Latin descendants are the target.

According to The Washington Post, the Trump administration is taking aim at a broad group of Americans along the border where Trump has promised to build a wall, where he deployed National Guardsmen and has separated children from their parents as part of his “zero tolerance” policy.

A possible reason for why Trump is doing this is because he had asked for stricter federal voter identification for the upcoming midterms.

Trump has done nothing but continuously attack the Hispanic community long before he was elected president. Americans of Latin descent are denied their passports, immigrant children are separated from their parents, the fear of separation overwhelm families and a wall is going up to separate Latinos from their families.

President Trump needs to start looking for more peaceful and reasonable solutions for immigration rather than creating fear.
