In a close game, the boys basketball team was able to knock out a win against Glenbard East Friday.

The team won, 66-61.

“Overall we had good points and bad points. Luckily, our good points outweighed our bad points,” head coach Bill Recchia said.

At half time West Chicago was at 26 while Glenbard East was at 25 points.

“I am always confident that the team would pull off the victory,” Recchia said.

Each player worked together in order to score a victory.

“Our whole team played great. Jason Gimre was knocking down all of the shots and Tai played super well the entire game,” junior Luke Seeman said.

According to Recchia, the team focuses on one game at a time in order to win.

“In order to get better, we are focusing on getting the little things better. We work on our dribbling, shooting, and our agility to get better,” Recchia said.

The next game the team will play is away against Elgin  Thursday.
