After studying and taking the online tests, 17 technical support internship students earned their Microsoft Outlook certifications.

Students were given the opportunity to earn them and decided as a class to pursue these certifications and trained for months.

“It was something that was brought up as the class went on as we looked into Outlook and thought about taking the certification test. It was something TSI decided to do,” junior Josh Babor said.

This certification will allow the students to assist anyone who needs help figuring out how to use the program.

“Basically this Microsoft Outlook certification means that we are certified to help people who are having problems with Outlook or need help with it,” junior Harsh Patel said.

Students now have a new edge to add to college applications or resumes.

“We can put this on our resumes and help us get a job in a certain field that we would want. It shows that we have knowledge in Microsoft Outlook,” Patel said.

Students plan to move on to their Microsoft Powerpoint certifications next.
