Frosty the Snowman is returning to WEGO

WeGo Global is selling candy grams that will be delivered by Frosty the Snowman.

Sweet and sugary Frosty Grams will be returning to West Chicago Community High School this holiday season, and will be delivered by WeGo Global’s very own Frosty the Snowman.

WeGo Global offers Frosty Grams every year; the proceeds from the fundraiser are donated to different charities. This year, the earnings will be sent to Back 2 School America, an organization dedicated to ensuring every child in America has the proper supplies to attend school. Back 2 School America kits can be purchased for any grade level K-12, and each kit has about 30 age appropriate school supplies within it.

“When you buy a Candy Cane Gram, all profit we make from the purchase goes straight into a check we write for Back 2 School America. Additionally, B2SA has a program where donators can write notes of encouragement to be included with schoolbags they send to kids in need. We plan to come together as a club to write as many as we can after winter break,” sophomore WeGo Global member Nick Riconosciuto said.

When students purchase a Frosty Gram, which will be sold from the back of Commons during lunch hours, they will have the choice of a peppermint candy cane for $1 or a SweeTARTS candy cane for $2. Students will be able to attach a short note to the gram to spread some holiday cheer to a friend, significant other, or favorite staff member.
