Giselle Cortez, Reporter
Giselle Cortez is a senior at West Chicago High School and is taking journalism for the first time this year. Giselle has a passion for soccer, but likes to bake in her free time. She is still undecided as to whether college feels right for her, but she is considering majoring in business to gain some experience in order to maintain a wealthy lifestyle with a happy family in a couple years.
Yadira Barrera Arenas, Reporter
Yadira Arenas is a senior, and a first-year member of the Wildcat Chronicle. As a self-titled “outgoing” person, Yadira took up Journalism after years of stressful classes and is looking to improve upon her writing skills.
Aside from being a “second mother” to her siblings, Yadira enjoys reading, drawing, and listening to music. Growing up all her life in Illinois, she plans to stay home and study real-estate in college/trade school, although she is still indecisive on her decision.
Alexa Morales, Features Editor
Although Alexa is a senior at WEGO, she is the captain of the dance team.
Something unique about Alexa is that she was an exchange student in France for a week and a half last spring.
Alexa's favorite music artist at the moment is Lana Del Rey.
Looking ahead into her future, Alexa is planning to go to college to be a nurse.
