Miguel Garcia

Miguel Garcia, Reporter

Miguel is senior at WEGO and a first-time member of the newspaper. He is the kind of the chill guy who likes to hang with his best mates, make the most of every moment, and make people laugh. He loves to play video games, especially games that are story driven, have roguelike elements, or simple beat ’em ups games. His love for games has driven him to the hardware aspect of computers (and a bit in the coding aspect as well): he was so committed towards this hobby that he even built his own personal computer from scratch during his sophomore year (Dec 2020) – even if he had a mental breakdown when he tried to turn on his computer and it failed to boot. (He forgot that computers needed graphics cards to show funny pixels on screen.) In the future, Miguel wants to work in the IT field, computer science (mainly for game development) or be a hardware computer engineer by going into a four-year college for his bachelor’s degree, then finishing with two more years to obtain his master’s degree in either one of the fields.
