Alyson (Aly) Dusing is an outgoing and engaging junior who enjoys making new connections and spending time with people she values. She strives to earn inspiring opportunities and continue to grow in academic, social, artistic, and other aspects. Once she graduates, Aly plans to pursue her dream career as a criminal defense attorney, hopefully somewhere where harsh winters do not exist.

WEGO gives blood, saves lives

One of the posters for the event encourages students to make appointments to donate blood, and mentions the possibility of a free t-shirt, while supplies last.

Students who signed up to give blood check-in at the front of the gym. Although the event was coordinated by WCCHS' Interact Club, Versiti Blood Center of Illinois handled registration and all medical aspects of the donation drive.

Students were given drinks and snacks to freshen up and feel at ease while giving blood.

Volunteers are taken care of by Versiti workers who are trained to give patients a quality experience.
