Hopes for e-learning day left out in the cold
On Jan. 21, freezing temperatures and subzero wind chills led to noticeably lower attendance at West Chicago Community High School. While students had hoped for an e-learning day, the school remained open, prompting mixed reactions from students who described varied classroom turnout and empty hallways.
