The Wildcat Chronicle is the voice of the student body at West Chicago Community High School. We are always looking for new student journalists to join the staff, especially with course selections right around the corner (Oct. 24, 2023).

JOURNALISM: SEMESTER-LONG CLASS

  • Hands-on and engaging semester-long elective class
  • Gather information and produce award-winning articles
  • Report on current events and sports in the school and surrounding community, write reviews, profile pieces, and opinion/editorial pieces
  • Work on photography and video projects, podcasts, graphic design, marketing and advertising, and even editorial cartoons
  • Learn the basics, then pursue the areas of interest to you!
