Carter Pensinger is finally joining the Wildcat Chronicle for the last semester of his high school career. He aspires to be a documentarian who creates politically driven documentaries. Born and raised in Winfield, Illinois, Carter enjoys listening to 1960s psychedelic music, sewing clothes, and reading about politics.

Carter is also a Snowball leader and has a passion for helping others. He hopes one day to own a large terrarium to house his future pet frogs. Carter joined journalism to share other people’s stories – potentially through documentaries – and is excited to be a part of the Chronicle.
