About the Contributors
Allison Komaniecki, Reporter
Allison Komaniecki, a senior, is excited to begin her first year of journalism. She enjoys participating in activities such as flag football, acting in plays, and taking part in school clubs. In her free time, Allison can often be found doing nature photography or watching shows on Netflix. Known for her silly, creative mind, she looks forward to bringing that creativity to the Wildcat Chronicle.
Magdalena Schave, Reporter
A recent addition to the Chronicle, Magdalena Schave is passionate about art history, the environment, and all things crafty: painting, jewelry-making, sewing, and more. In class, you will often find her scrolling through Pinterest or editing the novel she has been working on for the past six years (and still has not finished). Now a senior, Magdalena hopes to make the most of her final year and turn everyday moments into memories that will last a lifetime.
Milly Mora-Zarco, Reporter
Milly Mora-Zarco is finishing up his high school experience and has decided to challenge himself with two English classes this year. In his free time, he can be found listening to music or practicing the never-ending array of choir songs assigned to him. In addition to being a new journalist, Milly is a two-time All-State choir singer and a theater kid — but only when it comes to musicals, since he believes his singing makes up for his lackluster acting.
Kimberly Rangel, Reporter
Senior and coffee connoisseur Kimberly Rangel is looking forward to creating lasting memories, meeting new people, and stepping out of her comfort zone during her final year. On weekends, she enjoys spending time with family and friends when she is not working as a Target Beauty Team member or babysitting. Kimberly is excited to see how much she will grow and learn this year as she prepares for her post–high school journey to becoming a real estate agent in Georgia.
Rachel Knaack, Reporter
Rachel Knaack is entering her final year at WEGO and is eager to join the Wildcat Chronicle. She has served as the Student Council’s public relations representative for the past three years, is a ROAR mentor, and also participates in NHS. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, working out, and spending time with friends and family. Looking ahead, she plans to major in biology on the pre-med track with hopes of becoming a dermatologist.
See more of Rachel’s creativity on WEGO StuCo’s Instagram @wegostuco.
Aly Dusing, Special Projects Manager
Alyson (Aly) Dusing is an outgoing and engaging senior who enjoys making new connections and spending time with people she values. She strives to earn inspiring opportunities and continue to grow in academic, social, artistic, and other aspects. Once she graduates, Aly plans to pursue her dream career as a criminal defense attorney, hopefully somewhere where harsh winters do not exist.
