Vannie’s House, a local coffee and bubble tea lounge, opened up in August 2020, located in Fox Valley Center Drive. The shop offers ample space for both smaller and larger groups, featuring a lively mix of vibrant neon light-up posters and plants that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
Bathed in warm light, Vannie’s House captivates a simple promise: ‘You are Beauteaful’ over the exposed brick and cozy seating. It is a curated experience for customers to share with others as they are surrounded by uplifting messages.
Vannie’s House offers various seating options to customers: comfortable couches, tables for larger groups, or smaller tables for more intimate conversations or casual coffee dates.
The drink menu includes a variety of coffees, teas, and customizable boba drinks. The drink sizes offered are “regular” and “large” sizes.
Vannie’s House incorporates culture in its shop decor through the display of a Mexican flag peeking out of a cluster of stuffed animals.
Located just a few minutes from Fox Valley Mall, Vannie’s House attracts teenagers and adults. For some, it is the usual sweet treat after shopping for hours.
Behind the counter, baristas prepare drinks in an open, spacious area. Customers described the environment as relaxed and easy for ordering.
“The prices aren’t as expensive, and they have a good variety of drinks, and the vibes of the coffee shop are very cutesy,” Abril Vazquez, a customer, said.
There are several drink options. For new Vannie’s House goers, it might be difficult to decide which to choose.
“I got a mango slushy with strawberry popping boba,” local Vannie’s House connoisseur Ivy said. For frequent patrons, Vannie’s House offers some go-to options.
“My favorite drink to get there is the strawberry matcha with the passion fruit boba. It’s really good, I recommend,” Vazquez said.
Vannie’s House famous logo plastic wrap on the cups used for their drinks. Many TikTok videos have been made trying to aim at the bobs plastic wraps with their pointy straws.
