The Spanish for native speakers 2 classes hosted a culture night in commons on Friday.
Culture night is part of a project that students do to promote Latino culture.
It included the movie “A Better Life,” games, food and prizes.
“About 57 percent of the school has a Hispanic background. So it’s kind of to give the opportunity both for Hispanics to express their own culture, and those of non-Hispanic cultures to come see and learn more about Hispanic culture,” foreign language teacher Anne Marie Salazar said.
