Dex Vazquez, Reporter
Dex Vazquez is a senior who enjoys school, working, and hanging out with friends. He wants to attend college, but does not know what future path he wants to take just yet.
Over his four years at WEGO, Dex has gotten involved in organizations like Art Club, and taken Digital Photography. He admits that while he enjoys clubs, he gets bored after a couple months. Nonetheless, he wants to make the most of senior year, and will be attending most of the major school events during his final semesters at WCCHS.
Dex is grateful to have a chance to attend school and does not take his education for granted. He is an outgoing and funny person, and friends would tell you he is also easy to get along with.
Antwan Angeles, Reporter
Antwan Angeles is now a senior, and is very interested in theatrical arts and an incredibly social person at WEGO. He stepped onto the stage’s spotlight after reassurance and inspiration from his older brother, Michael, class of 2024 alumni, who helped Antwan step outside his comfort zone and find his passion for acting and musical theater.
Off stage, Antwan spends his free time listening to thought-compelling music and dreams about his future after high school. Lurking outside of school, he could be found playing video games, working out at the gym, or spending time with family and friends.
Antwan would like to study the culinary arts and open a bakery when he is older. He is proud to say how much he has grown as a person during his time at WEGO.
