Ela Marszalek, Reporter
Ela is an involved senior looking forward to her final year of high school: for her, West Chicago has been a great place to make friends and connections. She has been incredibly involved through extracurriculars such as Horticulture Club, where she has cultivated a green thumb. Ela also has a talent for embroidery, and on any given day, you might find her completing a cross stitch project or weaving an intricate friendship bracelet. Chances are likely that she will pursue a college major that involves art in the future.

Romina Pietanza, Reporter
Romina Pietanza is a senior at West Chicago who is involved with a variety of activities within the school: she is a member of the marching band, AV Club, and also a Student Ambassador. Outside of school, Romina works a restaurant job where she is making big bucks. She spends her spare time hanging with her friends, gardening, and doing arts and crafts. In the future, Romina plans to pursue a career in high school teaching and is taking the Chronicle as an opportunity to learn all there is to know about high school to prepare for the future!
