Students at WEGO are turning to hair styling and barbering more than ever. For some, these trades represent a way of life – a future career. For others, they are a means of making fast money before turning to other interests. Whatever the case may be, there is no denying that West Chicago students see their hair as part of their identity and self-worth. Christopher Pena is a senior, this is his first year on the Wildcat Chronicle. He is an outgoing person who is involved with many groups outside of school, and so he is rarely home. You can find him working at his job, hanging with friends and going to the gym. After high school, Chris has many dreams, including majoring in business and later having his own company.
