Q: How long have you worked here?

A: “I have been here 22 years.”

Q: What will you miss most about the school?

A: “The people. I just absolutely love the students and staff. I enjoy the work that I get to do with helping people.”

Q: How do you feel you have impacted the school?

A: “Well, I’d like to think in my role one of the biggest focuses is just helping students who might be struggling, but also helping students figure out what they want to do in the future. I started out as a counselor, so I got to do it very directly. For those first years and then as an administrator it’s been working with the staff to develop programs to do that. So hopefully we’ve put some things into place to really figure out what needs to be done and put programs in place to help students.”

Q: What are your plans for retirement?

A: “I don’t know yet. I’m looking forward to whatever the next chapter might bring. I’m surely not done. I have a son that’s in high school and I drive pretty far so I’m looking forward to being able to be closer to home and to be around for his stuff. I’ll be looking for other ways that I can go out and use the skills that I have to help people.”
