During the holidays and throughout December, Sonny Acres becomes a winter wonderland. Right at the entrance, visitors immediately smell the lovely scent of marshmallows and hear laughter in the background. Many come together at the light show to enjoy the amazing display and savor the delicious treats offered. It is a great way for friends and families to come together and make good memories.
At the entrance to Sonny Acres Farm, visitors are greeted by sparkling Christmas trees that set a lively and joyful tone for the evening. The trees are beautifully decorated with lights and ornaments, creating a warm and festive welcome for all.
Sonny Acres offers many delicious sweets, including “s’mores kits” that cost seven dollars each. Firepits are set up for people to roast marshmallows and melt chocolate for their treats.
Across the month of December, Sonny Acres hosts a light show where attendees can purchase tickets to walk a trail filled with Christmas-themed lights.
“Our light show is just a path that you can follow. So there’s no really areas that you can walk yourself. It’s a path, a set path you have to follow. You can kinda take it at your own pace. Take pictures, videos. You can basically go however fast you want,” Thomas Cabrera, a current worker at Sonny Acres, said.
Inside the mini-store, shoppers can browse a selection of treats and gifts in a warm and cozy atmosphere. The sweet smell of cinnamon and fresh pine fills the air. The store is filled with enjoyment and laughter, making Sonny Acres a great place to go holiday shopping.
Throughout Sonny Acres, there are many picturesque spots to take photos with family and friends, creating lasting memories. One such moment captured a cute dog embodying Christmas cheer.
At Sonny Acres, a Christmas Tree shop sells various decorations to enhance holiday experiences, alongside many tasty snacks.
“I love coming here, and I love the atmosphere. Although it is outside and it’s a bit cold, it’s so fun,” WCCHS sophomore Genesis Quiroz said.
The food stand at Sonny Acres offers a variety of items like hot dogs and candy.
“The hot cocoa was literally to die for,” Mariana Sandoval, a sophomore at WEGO, said.
From the moment visitors arrive, the magic of the Christmas season is palpable.
“My experience was really good. I really enjoyed seeing all the different lights and the creativity they came up with,” Quiroz said.
