Competitors will be gathering in early 2016 for the math competition at school.

And as of now, math team has enough people to compete, but math team sponsor Charles Vokes is still looking for more participants.

“Sometimes kids don’t even know about (math team), so it’s tough,” Vokes said.

Math team has a total of 24 competitors and students are still encouraged to come out and participate.

New members can make more friends and learn different math tools to later apply in their math classes.

“It’s just really an opportunity to learn more math, that’s really what it is,” Vokes said.
