Heading into his final semester of high school, senior Alex Hoffman decided to switch things up by joining the Wildcat Chronicle. If you ever see him, there’s a good chance he’s wearing headphones, listening to a wide range of music from Lucki to The Smashing Pumpkins. If not, he’s probably in bed or out with friends, driving around and spending way too much money on food. Alex plans to become an electrician and hopes to eventually move away from Illinois.

Excited to wrap up her final year of high school, senior Jocelyn Ruiz is determined to finish her last semester strong. During the week, you’ll most likely find her enjoying hour-long naps with her cuddly cat, Tobi, whom she adores. When she is not napping, Jocelyn balances her time between hanging out with friends and working as a hostess at a restaurant, saving up to support her shopping addiction. Looking ahead, Jocelyn dreams of pursuing a career in sonography and becoming an ultrasound technician.
