The first concert for choir held on Tuesday brought all of the choirs together.

“In the fall concert I try to pick songs that are musically interesting, and vary in style and theme. Also, the songs allow for the students to have success in such a short amount of time just because from the start of the school year and the concert the choirs are all new,” choir director Brandon Fantozzi said.

Mixed chorus, concert choir, women’s chorale and chamber choir performed.

“‘Dereva Ni Mungu’ was my favorite song that concert choir sung because it is was really fun and it is a just the perfect way to end the concert and that is how we ended it,”  sophomore Garrett Martin said.

Fantozzi said his favorite song was “Red, Red, Rose” sung by the concert choir because of the melody.

The audience gave positive feedback during the evening.

“It was a big crowd. It was the normal for our fall concert. I felt like the audience was receptive and they were supportive and appreciative of what we were doing, and it showed the students that appreciation, which ultimately is good for them to have that feedback,” Fantozzi said.

The next concert for choir will be the holiday concert on Dec. 3 at 3 p.m.
